In-Process Monitoring of Laser Surface Modification

چکیده

The laser cleaning process has the potential to become an alternative existing chemical-based if integrated with effective in-process monitoring system that could serve as a control mechanism over surface damages or contaminants through which desired cleanliness be achieved. This paper presents results of investigation into characteristics and viability utilizing probe beam reflection (PBR) plume-emission spectroscopy (PES) respective systems during after titanium alloy sheets using frequency-tripled Nd:YAG laser. present better ability differentiate between cleaned un-cleaned surfaces for both small large areas.
